Here are quick and easy instructions to apply a UV DTF cup wrap:

Quick Steps:

1. Prep the Surface: Wash your cup thoroughly with soap and water, then dry it completely. The cup must be clean and free of dust, oils, or residue for the transfer to stick correctly. (Some sources advise against using alcohol as it can interfere with the adhesive).

2. Prep the Wrap: Place the wrap on a flat surface and use your squeegee or credit card to firmly rub across the entire design. This ensures the design is fully adhered to the clear carrier sheet. Trim any excess clear film if necessary.

3. The Peel & Position:

   • Slowly peel back a small section (about 1/2 to 1 inch) of the backing paper to expose the adhesive on one end of the design. Cut this peeled section of backing paper off.

   • Carefully align the exposed adhesive edge on your cup, making sure the design is straight. Take your time, as the adhesive is very strong and hard to reposition once stuck.

4. Apply and Smooth:

   • Once the first edge is perfectly positioned, press it down firmly to secure it.

   • Continue to slowly peel the remaining backing paper away in small sections while simultaneously using your squeegee or your fingers to smooth the transfer onto the cup. Work from the center of the design outward to push out any air bubbles or wrinkles as you go. For a full wrap, slowly roll the cup as you peel and press.

5. Final Rub and Reveal:

   • Once the entire wrap is applied, vigorously rub the entire design with your squeegee and the warmth of your hand to ensure it is firmly adhered, paying extra attention to all edges and details.

   • Slowly and at a low angle, peel away the top, clear carrier film. If any part of the design lifts, lay the film back down, press that area firmly with your squeegee again, and continue peeling slowly.

6. Cure Time: Do not wash or use the cup for at least 24 to 48 hours. This allows the adhesive to fully cure and achieve maximum bond strength.

Care Tip: Handwashing is recommended for longevity. Do not soak the cup.
